About this lot
About this lot
A former industrial site on the west side of Kankakee with about 10 acres of concrete pavement, fenced and gated, with the rail yard along the north side. The pavement takes semis, RVs, box trucks and containers without the mud and ruts of a dirt lot, and the yard is big enough for drop-and-hook staging and longer stays.
Food and drink: Oliver's Bar & Grill is just east on Station St. W Court St in town adds Wendy's, Poor Boy Too, Good Vibrations Bar & Restaurant and Twins Chicken and Seafood, all within about two miles.
Getting around: downtown Kankakee and the Kankakee River are just east, and I-57 runs the length of the county north to Chicago and south to Champaign.
